The name of our company was inspired by the Swahili word "Punda" the donkey. For generations, the Maasai and many other communities, the Punda has been a symbol of strength, patience, and reliability, faithfully carrying heavy loads across long and challenging journeys. It is a creature that embodies service, resilience, and unwavering care.

We carry you through Africa’s breathtaking landscapes from endless savannahs filled with roaming wildlife, to majestic mountains, and the warmth of local cultures. Founded in 2025 by Raphael Kiangi, a passionate Tanzanian with a deep love for his country's incredible wildlife and landscapes, Kiang African Specialist Safari began as a dream to share the magic of Tanzania with travelers from around the world.

What started as a small operation with a single safari vehicle has grown into one of Tanzania's most respected tour operators, known for our personalized service, expert guides, and commitment to sustainable tourism practices.

Today, we are proud to have welcomed over 50 travelers from more than 25 countries, each leaving with unforgettable memories and a deeper appreciation for Africa's natural wonders.
