The Punda Spirit
The name of our company was inspired by the Swahili word "Punda" the donkey. For generations, the Maasai and many other communities, the Punda has been a symbol of strength, patience, and reliability, faithfully carrying heavy loads across long and challenging journeys. It is a creature that embodies service, resilience, and unwavering care.

Our Foundation
KIANG AFRICAN SPECIALIST SAFARI LIMITED was founded in 2025 by Raphael Kiangi, a passionate conservationist and experienced safari guide with over a decade of experience in Tanzania's wilderness.
Our Mission
Though we are a new company, our team brings together decades of collective experience in wildlife conservation, mountain guiding, and hospitality. We are based in Arusha, Tanzania - the safari capital of East Africa. Our mission is to provide authentic, sustainable, and unforgettable experiences while supporting local communities and wildlife conservation efforts across Tanzania.
