Our Story
The name of our company was inspired by the Swahili word "Punda" the donkey. For generations, the Maasai and many other communities, the Punda has been a symbol of strength, patience, and reliability, faithfully carrying heavy loads across long and challenging journeys. It is a creature that embodies service, resilience, and unwavering care.
In the same way, our company was founded with the vision of carrying travelers through unforgettable adventures not on its back, but on its heart. From the very first moment you step off the plane, until the final wave of goodbye at your departure, we walk beside you, lifting every burden so that your only task is to embrace the beauty around you.
We carry you through Africa’s breathtaking landscapes from endless savannahs filled with roaming wildlife, to majestic mountains, and the warmth of local cultures. Every safari with us is designed to be more than just a trip; it is a story written in the colors of sunsets, the whispers of the wild, and the smiles of the people you meet along the way.
KIANG AFRICAN SPECIALIST SAFARI LIMITED was founded in 2025 by Raphael Kiangi, a passionate conservationist and experienced safari guide with over a decade of experience in Tanzania's wilderness.
Though we are a new company, our team brings together decades of collective experience in wildlife conservation, mountain guiding, and hospitality. We are based in Arusha, Tanzania - the safari capital of East Africa.
Our mission is to provide authentic, sustainable, and unforgettable experiences while supporting local communities and wildlife conservation efforts across Tanzania.
